Jeff Chen

Jeff is a husband to his beautiful wife Mylisa and father to 3 princes David (9), Daniel (7), Kaleb (6), and a princess Kara (1).

Born in Taiwan, grew up in So Cal, graduated from Cal Poly Pomona and USC. In May of 2004 Jeff decided to venture out on his own to Oahu, working for an DoD engineering firm called Raytheon. Lived in Ewa and God placed a vision on his heart to start a non profit volleyball club called Paulele VBC. Which means Faith in Hawaiian. It started with 10 players and grew to 100+, 8 girls teams and 4 boys teams. The club verse was “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬

Over years on Oahu he has worked for various IT companies like Easter Seals Hawaii, Hawaiian Airlines, Kamehameha Schools, James Campbell Company. Did a career change in the middle of all those companies and helped launch the Kroc Center Hawaii as the Athletic Director. Created & launched multiple sports programs from the ground up. Then went back into IT workforce and now back at Hawaiian Airlines.

Jeff’s home church is Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor, where he serves with his wife in Awana’s ministry. Helping the youth memorize Bible verses each week.

Jeff has a passion for sharing the love of Jesus and uses sports as a vehicle to connect with others. I fell in love with vision and mission of FCA Hawaii. I love being able to work along side others with the same passions. Being a member of the FCA Hawaii board is such a great honor and privilege. Looking forward to help create and launch FCA Hawaii Club and leagues.
