About Callen
Growing up I always had a deep love for competition/competing and sports.
I played basketball, baseball, soccer, and even football throughout my childhood. Not to long after my freshman year of High school I would find my true passion, boxing. I loved the hard training sessions, battles on sparring, and the intensity of fight week, but even more than that the most impactful part of boxing was my Coach Jason. He taught me discipline, integrity, true consecration and purity...but most importantly how to have a deep relationship with Jesus, beyond just Sunday mornings or weekly Youth group.
After a couple years of coaching under Jason, leading in youth ministry with over 150 kids, and leading a ministry home where we would do worship nights and evangelize...I met the director for FCA Hawaii. As soon as I met Daniel, I knew right away from the Holy Spirit that this is where God was leading me to next.
I now have the opportunity to engage with 8 different schools on the as the Windward Area Rep and Equip coaches and athletes to do the work of the saints and spread the Gospel.
My personal goal is to show student-athletes how to have a deep relationship with Christ and how to take on the hard challenges of life with integrity, trusting in God's perfect will for them.
