Kim is a former all-state and collegiate softball player who graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a BA in International Studies and American Studies and a MA in Classics- Latin and Greek. Her home church is New Hope Central Oahu and she has been there since becoming a Christian in 2006.
Kim has been serving as an FCA Hawaii volunteer for the past 13 years as the University of Hawaii Softball team chaplain (2010-present) and co-advisor to ‘Iolani School FCA huddle (2007- 2017). As a second-generation lifetime coach, Kim has been active in coaching baseball for Wai Kahala Athletic Club (2005-2018) and is currently on staff with Cal A’s Hawaii softball club as an assistant coach and board member (player agent).
It is Kim’s heart to steward any opportunity and platform that God has provided to connect with coaches and athletes on the island of Oahu. She desires to invite all coaches, players, and parents into fellowship as a family of Christ, equip and empower them for discipleship and apostleship through the Word, and build a culture of honor in their respective communities. Her hope is that people would encounter His love and establish an intimate relationship with Him and others. Kim loves meeting people ‘where they are at’ because that is the heart of Jesus, her Father, and His Spirit!
